It is being reported that the music of Jamaican dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel has been banned from the airwaves in Guyana.
The state-owned radio network in Guyana says Kartel's songs will no longer be allowed because of the obscene lyrics.
The Associated Press (AP) quoted Martin Goolsarran, spokesman for the National Communications Network, as saying the music of the Jamaican artiste brings nothing positive to the entertainment industry.
